Free health events planned across communities
Free community health events are planned in Bradford and Columbus for Saturday, October 31. In Bradford, Impact Women Network CIC will offer blood pressure and BMI checks, wellbeing information, period-health support and free sanitary products as part of its Black History Month program, with a focus on prevention and reducing barriers to care. In Columbus, a free health fair at the public library will provide flu shots and other resources, including chest CT screenings for the first 10 qualifying uninsured smokers; insured attendees seeking flu shots should bring their insurance cards.
