Fresenius Medical Cuts 2026 Profit Outlook
Fresenius Medical Care lowered the upper end of its 2026 operating-income outlook, now forecasting results ranging from flat to a mid-single-digit decline, citing regulatory and inflation pressures. Third-quarter adjusted operating income fell 5% to €545 million, while net income dropped to €160 million from €275 million a year earlier; revenue edged up 1.1% to €4.94 billion. U.S. same-market dialysis treatments declined 1.1%, a steeper drop than in the first half of the year. The company said its U.S. rollout of the 5008X CAREsystem is progressing toward its annual target, and it launched a system for continuous kidney replacement therapy for critically ill patients.
