Fresno Woman Arrested in Alleged Child Kidnapping

Fresno police say 55-year-old Debbie Blancas allegedly used a small dog to lure a 9-year-old boy away from a northwest Fresno park and pulled him away from his home. A witness intervened after noticing the frightened child, freeing him when Blancas allegedly grabbed onto him and his backpack; Blancas was later arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and false imprisonment, and the boy was returned to his family unharmed.
