Frontier Plans 19 Denver Route Cuts

Frontier Airlines is cutting 19 routes from Denver International Airport by the end of 2026 as it adjusts its network, with reductions affecting destinations across the Midwest, Northeast and Washington state. Cedar Rapids–Denver service has been paused without a confirmed restart date, disrupting holiday plans for some passengers; the airport says it understands the break may be seasonal, while Frontier says it will decide later whether to resume service. The airline says route decisions reflect demand, seasonality, operating costs and other market factors. The cuts come amid broader industry changes, including the shutdown of Spirit Airlines, though some affected Frontier routes had been introduced only recently.
