Full House Creator Recalls Olsen Twins’ Season-One Breakthrough

Full House creator Jeff Franklin recalled being stunned by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s abilities when they were about 1 year old. The twins, who began sharing the role of Michelle Tanner at 9 months, reportedly delivered a scene lasting several minutes while staying in character, hitting every cue and joke, and ignoring cameras, studio equipment and the audience.
