Michael Keaton is directing and starring in the Western thriller “Rode to Ruin,” now filming in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with Morgan Freeman and Laura Linney. Richard Gadd, Bill Camp and Ray McKinnon have joined the cast; Gadd will play Clive McKinney, a charismatic outlaw gang leader seeking a rumored fortune and the person who destroyed his family. The story follows a retired U.S. Marshal whose decades-long hunt for his wife’s killer leads him to an aging outlaw whose memory is failing, and to a buried truth. Angel Studios acquired worldwide rights and plans a theatrical release in 2027.
