Garden Glow events plan expanded displays

Two Garden Glow events are returning with expanded nighttime attractions. Richmond’s Maymont says its ninth annual event will be its largest yet, adding a Field of Fireflies exhibit and expanding its popular Laser Lane into an immersive Laser Forest; proceeds help fund the 100-acre park, its educational programs and animal care. At Maryland’s Ladew Topiary Gardens, the ninth annual Garden Glow runs Oct. 14–17, featuring illuminated art, thousands of hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns, live performances and more food options.
