Garden Tours, Walks Offered Across Five Locations
Visitors can explore gardens through several free or guided offerings. In Cape Coral, University of Florida Master Gardeners will lead free tours of native and Florida-friendly plants, a butterfly garden and a food forest at the Cape Coral Museum of History; no reservations are required for groups under six. Yuma’s Moody Garden offers a free self-guided walk with bingo and prizes, including a Halloween treat for children who find a hidden mosaic lizard. In San Francisco, the Japanese Tea Garden offers free entry to city residents with valid ID and free admission hours for all visitors on select mornings. Central Florida gardeners can also register online for guided tours of the UF/IFAS Extension Orange County Exploration Gardens, which showcase Florida-friendly landscaping.
