Gardens Showcase Community Art, Rare Blooms

The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens in Louisiana offers 440 acres of themed gardens, woodlands and wetlands, with about five miles of walking paths and free general admission. Among its highlights is a collection of more than 450 named camellia varieties, built over decades by Violet and Hank Stone, who also introduced some varieties themselves.
