Garth Brooks stuns 2,000 fans as secret alter ego Yukon Jack in Denver
Garth Brooks surprised roughly 2,000 fans Thursday night at Denver’s Grizzly Rose, performing a secret concert under his 1993 pseudonym, Yukon Jack. The appearance had been widely suspected because of Brooks’ ties to Yukon, Oklahoma, his earlier use of the name and his upcoming four-show run at Ball Arena. Fans waited for hours in hot weather, and emergency crews assisted several people during the crowded event. Brooks performed favorites including “Friends in Low Places” and “The Dance,” and described the honky-tonk show as a return to the setting where his music began.
