GE Aerospace Raises 2026 Profit Forecast
GE Aerospace raised its 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share forecast to $8–$8.10 after strong third-quarter results, with revenue from commercial engines and services up 21% and orders, total revenue and earnings also posting substantial gains. The company said robust demand for maintenance and spare parts, contracted shop visits and a large services backlog should help offset pressure on airlines from higher fuel costs; it expects commercial-services growth to remain strong in 2027. Rising fuel prices and airline cost-cutting could still weigh on flight schedules and eventually maintenance demand, though GE has reported little change in fleet plans so far. Bernstein maintained an outperform rating, citing resilience in GE’s aftermarket business despite those concerns.
