Genmab Rina-S Trial Meets Two Ovarian Cancer Endpoints
Genmab reported positive topline results from its Phase 3 RAINFOL-02 trial of Rina-S for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, meeting the study’s primary endpoint of progression-free survival and key secondary endpoint of overall survival. Among 584 patients, the treatment reduced the risk of disease progression or death by 71% and the risk of death by 57% compared with investigator-selected chemotherapy; the safety profile showed no new signals. The results apply regardless of patients’ FRα expression, and Genmab plans to present the data at a medical meeting and discuss next steps with regulators. The announcement lifted Genmab shares, with reports attributing the gains to the trial results.
