Gildan Faces Multiple Securities Class-Action Suits
Gildan Activewear is facing securities class actions alleging that it misled investors about revenue growth and internal controls during the period from February 19, 2025, through June 15, 2026. The complaints claim the company used incentives, rebates, paid freight and extended payment terms to push excess inventory to distributors, pulling future sales forward and making growth appear stronger than underlying demand supported. The allegations followed a June 16, 2026, report by short seller Jehoshaphat Research accusing Gildan of channel stuffing; the company’s shares fell about 18.7% that day. Investors who seek appointment as lead plaintiff must act by December 14, 2026.
