Girls Volleyball Playoffs Set Across California, Connecticut

California high school girls volleyball teams are set to compete for championships across all 10 CIF sections, with several anticipated matchups highlighting the title weekend. In the CIF Southern Section Division 1 final, undefeated-in-section-play contenders Mater Dei and Sierra Canyon meet for the third straight year; Mater Dei won their earlier meeting this season, while Sierra Canyon took last year’s section title before Mater Dei won the state championship. Other Orange County teams also feature in CIF-SS finals, including Corona del Mar, seeking its first section crown since 2004, and El Toro, whose only girls volleyball championship came in 2021.
