GoFundMe Campaigns Aid Injured Crash Victims
Several community fundraisers are helping people and families cope with serious injuries and recovery costs. In Emporia, a campaign is raising money for Becky Mishler, who was struck by an SUV while crossing a street in October. A separate appeal is supporting Dayton and his daughter Lexi, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and faces further surgery and rehabilitation. In Rapid City, a fundraiser is covering expenses for 14-year-old Emma, who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run while walking to school; police arrested a suspect in the crash. Other campaigns are assisting Lindsay Zimbro, injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Virginia, and Elizabeth Diavila, a Southern Idaho mother of four who sustained major injuries in a head-on collision and needs rehabilitation and help with lost income.
