Greenberg Wins Louisville Mayoral Reelection
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg won reelection, defeating Metro Councilwoman Shameka Parrish-Wright and securing a second term. Results reported by local outlets put his share at about 58 percent, with all precincts reporting in one account. Greenberg campaigned on his record and pledged to continue work on public safety, affordable housing, jobs and neighborhood revitalization. Parrish-Wright argued for a different, more grassroots approach to investment and emphasized the importance of electing the city’s first woman mayor; the candidates also differed over police funding and data centers. The mayoral race was nonpartisan under a 2024 change in Kentucky law.
