With Cleveland facing elimination in Game 6 of the ALCS, the Guardians named Shawn Armstrong to start against Tampa Bay’s Freddy Peralta. Armstrong is making his second start of the series and his third appearance in three days after opening Game 4 and pitching 1⅓ scoreless innings in Game 5. He has not allowed a run in 7⅔ postseason innings, though Cleveland needs a win to force a decisive Game 7. Peralta, who shut out Cleveland over six innings in Game 2, will start for the Rays.
