Halliburton tops Q3 revenue, earnings estimates
Halliburton reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $5.70 billion, up 1.8% from a year earlier and above analyst expectations. Adjusted earnings were $0.60 per share, topping the $0.58 consensus; net income was $417 million, compared with $18 million a year earlier. Adjusted operating margin declined to 12.8% from 13.4%, while the company generated $156 million in free cash flow and returned $250 million through share repurchases, in addition to its $0.17-per-share dividend. Results were mixed across operations: lower North American activity weighed on Completion and Production, while Drilling and Evaluation and international revenue grew sequentially. CEO Jeff Miller forecast mid-single-digit revenue growth and operating margins of about 15% in 2027, assuming a flat North American market.
