Halloween Displays, Gardens Hit by Vandalism

Several community displays have been damaged or stolen in separate incidents. In Essex, White Elm Garden Centre reported that Halloween decorations and pumpkins were repeatedly vandalized before four men broke into its petting farm and damaged enclosures; no animals were harmed. In South Sacramento, surveillance footage captured four people damaging a homeowner’s Halloween inflatables and projector, and apparently attacking a neighbor’s display; the homeowner filed a police report and added security cameras. In Virginia Beach, a porch camera recorded a man stealing a family’s Nightmare Before Christmas animatronics, prompting the family to report the theft. In Uniontown, hundreds of flowers were pulled from a memorial park’s display, and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
