Harvest festivals mix fellowship, crafts and performances across three states
Several communities are hosting Harvest Festival events with different audiences and activities. In Alabama, First Congregational Church is inviting women to an Oct. 18 festival focused on fellowship, educational programs and networking; downtown Joplin’s Oct. 15 event will feature local artists, live performances, food and vendors as the season’s final Third Thursday. In Shelley, Idaho, a hands-on festival at Snake River Homestead will explore the state’s cultural roots through demonstrations and presentations on traditional crafts, history and Indigenous culture.
