Allentown Teen Dies Weeks After Tree-Branch Strike

A 15-year-old Parkland High School student died nearly a month after a falling tree branch struck him while he was with his cross-country teammates near Little Lehigh Parkway in Allentown. The Lehigh County coroner ruled his death accidental, citing complications from multiple blunt-force injuries, and said the boy’s name would not be released to protect his family’s privacy. His family said he had been running with his teammates when the branch fell and later shared that he had fought bravely but suffered cardiac arrest.
