Victor Hedman scored 2:07 into overtime to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 4-3 win over the Seattle Kraken. Brandon Hagel scored twice and Ilya Mikheyev added a goal for Tampa Bay, while Ryan Winterton, Jared McCann and Matthew Beniers scored for Seattle; Beniers tied the game late in the third period. Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 24 shots, and Philipp Grubauer made 31 saves. Tampa Bay improved to 4-0 at home, while the win also featured Dominic James’s return from a broken hand; the Lightning’s ineffective power play remained a concern.

Hagel scoring twice was huge for the Lightning, too bad Seattle's streak had to end on a night like this.

Beniers tying it late showed real fight from Seattle but they just ran out of time against Tampa's depth.
