Hegseth attends Tennessee-Alabama game, swears in recruits

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth visited Knoxville for the Tennessee-Alabama game as part of his military outreach and recruitment initiative, the Send Me Tour. He met with University of Tennessee ROTC cadets, praised their commitment to military service and administered the oath of enlistment to new recruits before attending the game at Neyland Stadium. The visit highlighted UT’s record-size ROTC program, including its Army ROTC battalion, the largest outside senior military colleges and service academies.
