Hitachi, Yanmar agree North American loader production

Hitachi Construction Machinery is broadening its North American lineup through two manufacturing partnerships as it prepares to rebrand as LANDCROS. Under a new agreement, Yanmar will manufacture LANDCROS-branded compact track loaders at its Grand Rapids facility for sale starting in fall 2027; the companies are also preparing a reciprocal arrangement for Hitachi to supply compact excavators through Yanmar’s North American dealer network. Separately, Hitachi will work with Bell Equipment to introduce 30- to 50-ton articulated dump trucks in North America in early summer 2027, with additional sizes planned. Together, the moves are intended to expand Hitachi’s offerings across compact equipment and large-scale earthmoving while drawing on partner manufacturing expertise and established dealer networks.
