Holiday Events Expected Across Multiple States

Communities across the country are preparing for holiday celebrations in December 2026, ranging from markets and family days to performances, parades and light displays. Palmer Lake, Colorado, will hold its 93rd annual potluck and Yule Log Hunt, a tradition in which residents search the woods for a ribbon-decorated log before bringing it back to town to burn. South Mississippi’s calendar includes Disney on Ice, a holiday concert, a Grinch musical, Christmas festivities and a boat parade with fireworks. In Gallatin, Tennessee, a Christmas market will feature homemade gifts, music and food and coffee vendors, while Grand Rapids, Minnesota, will host a family day at a historic logging camp. Arkansas communities are also promoting a wide range of seasonal celebrations, including lights, parades, festivals and family activities.
