Owen Sound, Omaha and Macon Ready Holiday Light Displays

Communities are preparing holiday light displays in Owen Sound, Omaha and Macon. Owen Sound crews are installing cross-street lights along four blocks of 2nd Avenue East, with temporary block closures but pedestrian access maintained. Omaha’s 75-foot Salvation Army Tree of Lights is assembled and will be officially lit Nov. 5. In downtown Macon, a free display of more than a million lights will dance to original music across 5.5 city blocks, with hourly shows each evening.
