Holiday light attractions across the country are adding new ways for families to celebrate. In Bayport, New York, Camp Edey’s Holiday Light Show returns on weekends from Dec. 4 through Dec. 20, featuring large illuminated displays based on winning Girl Scout designs, live caroling, hot cocoa and visits with Santa. In Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Christmas in the Park offers a free, drive-through display of more than 100 lights along Freeman Lake, running nightly from late November through New Year’s Day. Charleston County Parks is also offering a new view of its Holiday Festival of Lights: guided dragon boat paddles on the lake at James Island County Park on select dates in November and December, with admission and hot chocolate included.
