Holiday Window Contests Planned Across North America

Several communities are inviting local businesses and residents to take part in holiday contests for the 2026 season. Hamilton businesses can compete in a Christmas window-display contest for a judges’ prize and a public-voted award, with displays intended to draw shoppers and visitors downtown. Asheville’s downtown window contest features the theme “A Vintage Holiday,” while Marion County businesses are invited to enter professionally decorated or do-it-yourself storefront displays. In Barrie, residents can submit artwork depicting a city scene or event for a chance to have it featured on the mayor’s Christmas card and win $600.
