Homan Says Omar Could Face Deportation
White House border czar Tom Homan says investigators have a “strong case” in a federal probe into Rep. Ilhan Omar over alleged immigration fraud, and says denaturalization and deportation could be possible if evidence shows she lied during the naturalization process. Federal agents searched Omar’s Washington home and reportedly seized her cellphone. Omar has not been charged, denies wrongdoing and has called the investigation politically motivated; she and her supporters have accused the Trump administration of targeting her.
