Home tours mark 50th anniversary in Dallas and return in Phoenix
Several home tours are showcasing distinctive homes and neighborhoods. In Phoenix, a home-design television episode features a 12,000-square-foot Scottsdale residence, the newly opened One Camelback residential building and a north Phoenix home listed for $500,000. Dallas’s Lakewood Home Tour marks its 50th anniversary with eight homes spanning historic and modern styles, raising money for schools in the Woodrow Wilson High School feeder pattern. Phoenix’s Roosevelt Neighborhood Home Tour returns after a seven-year break as the neighborhood celebrates 40 years as the city’s first officially designated historic neighborhood; proceeds support community programs, improvements and preservation. In Wauwatosa, the Woman’s Club’s holiday tour will open five homes in Ravenswood, with a sixth serving as its cookie house and tour headquarters.
