Hospitals Named to Newsweek’s 2027 Best-in-State List

Newsweek and Statista named hospitals in Tennessee, West Virginia, Alabama and Florida to their 2027 America’s Best-in-State Hospitals list, which recognizes 800 hospitals nationwide. Covenant Health’s Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Covenant Health Roane were recognized in Tennessee, while Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center earned its fourth consecutive listing in West Virginia. Southeast Health was also included, and Sarasota Memorial Hospital ranked among Florida’s top 10 hospitals and was the only hospital in Southwest Florida on the list. The rankings evaluate hospitals using measures including quality, reputation, patient experience and patient-reported outcomes. Hospital leaders said the recognition reflects their teams’ work to provide high-quality care and earn the trust of their communities.
