Hot Chicken Chains Plan North American Expansion

Dave’s Hot Chicken plans to open a Tyler location at 6849 S. Broadway Ave., in a former Whataburger near Walmart. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing says the building will be renovated, with construction expected to start in late November and finish in April 2027. The Nashville-style hot chicken chain began in 2017 and serves tenders, sliders and other menu items.
