House Speaker Johnson campaigns for Montana Republicans
House Speaker Mike Johnson visited Bozeman to campaign for Republican congressional candidate Aaron Flint and Senate candidate Kurt Alme ahead of a closely contested election. Johnson urged Republicans to “hold the line” and retain their House majority, framing the contest as a choice between “common sense and crazy” and disputing polling that showed Flint’s race as a toss-up. Flint echoed Johnson’s attacks on what he called far-left politics. Independent Senate candidate Seth Bodnar criticized Alme’s association with Johnson and national Republican leaders, saying he would stand with Montana instead.
