Houston Dynamo Clinch Playoff Spot in Draw

FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo drew 2-2 in a dramatic Texas Derby, with Christian Cappis putting Dallas ahead before Héctor Herrera equalized from a corner. Houston took a late lead through Mateusz Bogusz’s penalty, but Petar Musa converted a stoppage-time penalty to secure the draw for Dallas. Despite Houston controlling more possession, Dallas created the greater attacking threat, recording more shots and shots on target and twice as many touches in the opposing penalty area. The result extended Houston’s winless run to six matches, while Dallas secured the 2026 Derby series.
