Hundreds of Bison Break Through Grand Teton Fence

Hundreds of bison stampeded at Grand Teton National Park, charging a fence and surging through, under, and over it in dramatic footage captured by a local wildlife guide. The cause was unclear: witnesses said the herd appeared frustrated by the barrier, while people and horses nearby may also have startled the animals. Observers described the sustained rush as unusually powerful, and a separate report said another bison herd had broken through a park fence in recent weeks.
