Huntsville Mazda-Toyota Plant Builds Millionth Vehicle

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama, marked production of its one millionth vehicle, five years after the plant began operations. The facility builds the Mazda CX-50 and Toyota Corolla Cross and employs about 4,500 people. To recognize the milestone and its ties to North Alabama, the company announced $120,000 in grants for local organizations supporting education, workforce training and community services. Local leaders praised the plant’s role in the region’s economy and community partnerships.
