Hyatt Centric Opens First Missouri Hotel in St. Louis

Hyatt Centric Downtown St. Louis has opened at 1501 Washington Avenue as the brand’s first hotel in Missouri, bringing 142 rooms to an 11-story historic building. Built in 1910 as the headquarters of Roberts, Johnson & Rand Shoe Company and most recently operated as The Last Hotel, the property retains its distinctive Sullivanesque façade while adding contemporary guest rooms. The hotel’s dining includes The Link, a restaurant and bar serving New American fare and St. Louis specialties, along with a lobby bar and 24-hour market. A seasonal rooftop bar and pool, meeting and event space, and proximity to downtown attractions round out the new offering.
