Hyundai Unveils Redesigned Tucson Starting at 31.4 Million Won

Hyundai has opened orders for the fifth-generation Tucson, its first full redesign in six years, offering gasoline and hybrid powertrains across four trims. The redesigned SUV is larger, with more cargo space, and brings upgraded performance and efficiency; Hyundai says advanced safety, convenience and infotainment features will be standard from the base trim. Prices start at 31.4 million won for the gasoline model and 36.15 million won for the hybrid. The higher entry prices reflect the removal of the former lower-priced trims: one report calculates increases of about 3.35 million won for gasoline and 3.45 million won for hybrid compared with last year’s entry models, raising concerns about affordability even as equipment improves.
