Driver strikes Canton fire SUV blocking I-77 lanes

A 38-year-old woman was seriously injured and a Canton firefighter suffered minor injuries when her Toyota Corolla struck a fire department SUV blocking lanes at an earlier crash scene on southbound Interstate 77 in Canton. The collision occurred late Wednesday near milepost 107.5; authorities said the left and center lanes were closed, and investigators believe the driver failed to slow down or move over.
