Ice Cream Brands Open, Plan More US Shops
New ice cream shops are opening or planned in several U.S. communities. Roll Me Up Ice Cream & Desserts has opened a second Houston-area location in Sugar Land, featuring rolled ice cream and South Asian-inspired flavors. Handel’s is preparing to open in Apple Valley, California, where its grand-opening celebration will include giveaways and activities; nearly 100 job seekers reportedly lined up for interviews ahead of the opening. In Canton, Michigan, a Bruster’s franchise is expected to open in February or March, offering fresh-made ice cream and rotating flavors. Handel’s also plans six Greater Cincinnati locations through 2030, including a West Chester Township shop slated for fall 2027.
