IKEA set to open Oklahoma store in Tulsa
IKEA opened its first Oklahoma store at Tulsa Hills in Tulsa, giving shoppers in the region a nearby alternative to traveling out of state. The roughly 51,000-square-foot store features thousands of home furnishings, room displays and planning services, with more than 3,000 items available to take home. Customers can also use pickup and delivery options and visit the store’s restaurant, which serves Swedish-style meatballs. More than 60 people work at the location, most from the Tulsa area, and IKEA marked the opening with a $10,000 donation to Tulsa’s Family and Children’s Services.
