Indiana rallies past WKU 79-74 in exhibition finale
Indiana rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to beat Western Kentucky 79-74 in its final exhibition game in Evansville. Bryce Lindsay led the Hoosiers with 20 points, while a late lineup featuring Lindsay, Sam Alexis and three freshmen helped fuel the comeback. Indiana’s starters struggled, particularly point guard Markus Burton, who shot 1-for-11, and the Hoosiers had trouble scoring despite 37 free-throw attempts; the foul-heavy game also lacked rhythm. Indiana opens its regular season Nov. 2 against Eastern Illinois.
