International Art Shows Connect Artists Across Cultures
Recent art and design projects are using creative work to explore connection, identity and community. The Sino-French exhibition “INTERREALM” brought together 24 artists and designers to consider care, cross-cultural exchange and the transformation of traditional practices, while Chennai’s “The Madras Warp” united 16 artists in a show spanning multiple media and themes including memory, culture and place. A temple design by Bunga Design Atelier similarly frames architecture as a space for togetherness and human connection. In Columbia, longtime supporters Paul Land and Julaine Stiers have helped fund public art that reflects local stories and gives shared spaces lasting meaning.
