Iowa Governor-elect Sand names transition team
Iowa Gov.-elect Rob Sand named Elisabeth Buck, an experienced state administrator who led previous gubernatorial transitions, and Iowa State Education Association political director Morgan Miller as co-directors of his transition team. They will spend the roughly 10 weeks before his January inauguration preparing the incoming administration, including identifying candidates for state agency leadership and other government roles. Sand’s team also launched IowaForAll.com to share state government job openings and ways for Iowans to get involved. Gov. Kim Reynolds has pledged her administration’s cooperation to help ensure a smooth handoff and that Sand’s team is ready on its first day.
