Iowa Rallies to Tie Score Before Minnesota Wins on Late Field Goal

Iowa lost to Minnesota 13-10 after a blocked punt on its opening series, four turnovers and other costly mistakes derailed the offense. The Hawkeyes’ defense kept them in the game, limiting Minnesota to 209 total yards and 72 rushing yards, while Tony Diaz and Reece Vander Zee helped Iowa rally to tie the score late. But Iowa’s offense struggled through a quarterback change, and a late coverage breakdown set up Minnesota’s winning field goal.
