Iowa State Wrestling Plans 2026 Media Day

Iowa State’s wrestling team held its annual media day ahead of the 2026-27 season, the first under head coach Brent Metcalf, with interviews covering his approach and team atmosphere, key lineup battles, and wrestlers’ goals and preparation. The Cyclones open at Hilton Coliseum against Bucknell on Nov. 1. Iowa’s ticket plans for the season are also being released, including a Nov. 22 men’s dual against Iowa State followed by an Iowa women’s dual against King; admission to the men’s matchup includes access to the women’s event. Iowa women’s season tickets are already on sale, while men’s mini plans and single-dual tickets go on sale later in October.
