Italian Restaurants Open, Plan Reopenings Across Cities

Several Italian restaurants are opening or returning to business. Emilio’s will reopen in Durham on November 5 at 96 Elvet Bridge, where owners Emilio Arceri and Dan Stafford are refurbishing the former Notch Americano space and have begun taking reservations. In Washington, D.C.’s Woodley Park, Pastiamo Osteria is emphasizing Neapolitan-style pizza, housemade pasta, and affordable dining, with daily happy hour and weekend bottomless brunch. Yardley, Pennsylvania, has welcomed Taralli, a Southern Italian restaurant serving the former La La Lobster site, while New York’s La Pecora Bianca has opened its first location outside the city at Coral Gables’ Shops at Merrick Park, featuring more than ten housemade pastas and Miami-specific dishes.
