Jacksonville Fair plans 82-acre Westside debut
The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair is moving from downtown to a new Westside home at the Jacksonville Festival and Fairgrounds, an 82-acre campus more than five times the size of its former grounds. Running Nov. 5–15, the 2026 fair offers expanded parking for about 5,000 vehicles, more room for attractions, separated areas for children’s and adult rides, and five new rides, including two roller coasters. Organizers and local authorities are also planning for traffic flow and public safety at the larger venue. The fair’s new 10,000-capacity Jax Amphitheater is making its debut there, with JJ Grey and Mofro set to open the venue.
