Jacksonville nears first 8-1 finish since 1966
Jacksonville improved to 7-1 with a 43-13 win over Normal U-High, securing its third consecutive playoff berth and moving within one win of an 8-1 regular season, a mark it has not reached since 1966. The Crimsons’ defense forced multiple turnovers, including a fumble returned 94 yards for a touchdown by Jeremiah Jackson. Jacksonville closes the regular season at home against 7-1 Decatur MacArthur, with a chance to match the historic record.
