Jaguars Sign Bobenmoyer to Fill in for Injured Matiscik
The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing veteran long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer to fill in for Ross Matiscik, who injured his shoulder during the team’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton handled long-snapping duties after Matiscik went down, but is expected to return to his regular position. Matiscik is not expected to be placed on injured reserve, leaving open the possibility he returns after recovering while Bobenmoyer covers the position, including the Jaguars’ upcoming game against the Houston Texans in London.
